Attorney Craig R. McClellan was recently profiled in a special Member Spotlight published by the Federal Bar Association, San Diego Chapter.
The Member Spotlight – Craig McClellan: Life in the Law and the Fast Lane – chronicles Mr. McClellan’s decorated legal career, from his education at California Western School of Law and early years as a trial lawyer to his founding of The McClellan Law Firm in 1987.
As noted in the article, Mr. McClellan created The McClellan Law Firm with the desire to make a difference in people’s lives. And by limiting his practice to no more than 15 cases at a time, he has been able to do just that.
In the years since founding our firm, Mr. McClellan has handled numerous complex and high-profile cases across California and beyond – including claims brought in federal court under the Federal Tort Claims Act and cases featured on national broadcast programs the likes of 20/20, 60 Minutes, and the McNeil-Lehrer Report (PBS NewsHour). He has led victims, families, and clients to successful resolutions in cases ranging from serious personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability to insurance claims and commercial torts, and has obtained over 140 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million each.
Mr. McClellan credits this impressive track record to his unwavering passion – which remains a driving force behind our firm’s success and continued work fighting for the injured and wronged. As the article notes:
“He owes much of his success to his love of the law and love for the work he does day in and day out. To him, looking at a new case and doing research is often more fun than the latest box office hit. He credits his success to the dedication, drive, and time he has put in. He loves the work, and when you love what you do it is hard to put it down. And that is the advice he often gives to young lawyers. You never know what’s going to come up in your career, so make it as fun and exciting as you can. And you will want to go at it every single day.”
